Here you will learn the five basic positions in basketball.

 

The first position is the Point Guard. The Point Guard is usually your best ball handler. The Point Guard is the always the one to bring the ball down the court and call out the plays.

 

 Mr. williams Elective Class

The second and third positions are called the Wing. The wings help the Point Guard bring the basketball down the court. They help the Point Guard get the ball down closer to the hoop.

Dreamweaver

The third and fourth positions are called the Post or the Forward. The forwards either screen for the Wings or the Point Guard so they can go in for a basket, or they shoot themselves. Post's also go in for the rebounds and block out.

Slam Dunk Elective Class

Those are the five positions in Basketball. Remember the Point Guard, two Wings, and two Posts. Each of these positions is a blast to play!!!
