I got into taking steers to the fair in 2004. Last year I won a red ribbon on my steer Andrew. The steer I didn't take to the fair was Nate. This year my two steers are Tom and Jerry. I named them that because one is small and gray like Jerry the mouse and the other one is big and red like Tom the cat. I hope I will get a better ribbon this year than last. To get my steers ready for showmanship I have to wash him clean him really well. This year I will be in Junior Showmanship for steers. I wasn't in it last year so I don't know what truly happens, but my sister has and she told me about it. The judge has you walk your steer around the show ring and the judge asks you questions.
