Welcome from Mr. Williams:

This page contains interesting, fun and informative links related to the
subjects covered in my Seventh Grade English class. The links will guide
you to some of my assignments that I have developed and gained from
other exciting teachers.

I believe English is a way of exploring and most importantly a process
of communicating ideas. It is my job to find a way to make that learning
possible. The class will place an emphasis on understanding and using skills.

You should be active learners in my class. I feel it is not enough for you to
read about English; you must be an active learner. You should observe,
question, ponder and test hypotheses, analyze data, report, and express
your thoughts through writings, music, poetry and art.

You will be asked to not only do English but use such things as
art, science, math and all the other subjects you study each day in your
other classes. This should be a hands–on, active challenging experiences.

Welcome aboard!
